I recently had the pleasure of being asked to be involved in a bridal editorial, and with weddings being one of my most favourite things I couldn’t wait to get started. The location was the incredible Bovey Castle, and Photography was by the very talented Emma Barrow.
The brief for the the wedding was to be elegant, classic and sophisticated, so I set out to find the perfect dress to fit the bill. My search naturally began online, where I trawled through hundreds of beautiful gowns, many of which did not fit the classic/elegant specification but still a treat for my eyes! I came across a sophisticated long sleeve mermaid dress by Pronovias called Vania, it was simply stunning with a beautiful lace back adorned with covered buttons. Thankfully, The Wedding Company a local bridal boutique stocked this most wonderful dress and naturally it looked perfect on model Amy Coles.
To compliment the bride, the handsome groom Adam Phillips wore this classic 3 piece tux.
Oozing elegance and sophistication!
I chose a simple cathedral length veil which complimented the dress perfectly.
Tracie Cunningham of Envy Hair beautifully curled Amy’s extra long hair which was specifically positioned to hang loosely over one shoulder, and was finished with a stunning hairpiece made by Flourish.
Beautifully designed stationery was created by Anon Design and looks perfect alongside the spectacular flower arrangements by Flourish.
This most amazing cake was made by Cut Me Off A Slice. Bovey Castle had the perfect location for this wonderful cake so it could be seen in all its glory!
This truly was an elegant bridal shoot. The location, the flowers, the decor, the tux and of course the beautiful wedding dress!
