This spring the super stripe is going to be HUGE. With Prada, Dior and Stella McCartney (to name but a few) all having funky stripes in their Spring 2016 collections. If you’re brave enough why not try head to toe stripes - there are no limits to this fun trend! Take a look at some of the high street stripe attire I found….
This dress is an absolute favourite, for many reasons. I love the all over bold diagonal stripes. The shape of this dress is very flattering with a slight draw in at the waist and the midi length I find to be super sophisticated. You can wear it with all the buttons done up for an edgy look, or undo those top few for a softer more feminine look OR completely undone over your favourite jeans and cami. Simply love this one!
This blazer from Simply Be is superb, the colours work so well together and it will certainly make a plain outfit a lot more interesting.
… team it with this stunning leather pencil skirt from M&S and heeled courts by Kurt Geiger, it’s going to look just a bit too gorgeous!
This super fun stripe skirt by Boden will brighten up your spring, I love the mix of colours they have used.
To add a bit of glamour this navy silk shirt from M&S will go perfectly.
Or, if you are brave enough, double up the stripes with this top from M&S – the navy and that rusty red will work really well with the skirt.
A very simple and versatile striped dress by Miss Selfridge – suitable for the office, lunch date or even a girly night out, just dress it up or down with your shoes and accessories.
These vertical striped ciagarette trousers from Topshop are going to look super funky with this striped sequin t-shirt from River Island. And to finish off these pink suede mules (mules/slipper shoes back again this spring), love this look.
I found a few striped shirt dresses on the high street, here are a few. This type of casual dress is going to look fab with tights and boots and when it gets a little warmer they will look great with bare legs and a gorgeous pair of flat mules.
Let’s not forget accessories, simply update your spring wardrobe with a dash of stripe!
I hope you have enjoyed reading my latest on high street stripes, I’m certainly looking forward to wearing some of these pieces!
